My family always does something fun on thanksgiving.  Usually, my grandpa will come over and we would have dinner with him, but this year we are going to my grandma’s.  We always have a lot to eat.  Ham, Turkey, rolls, stuffing, and lots of pie(:.  My grandma, grandpa, aunt, and cousin are all going to be there this year.  After dinner, my family and I are going to see New Moon.  I’ve seen it already, but my mom, dad, and sisters haven’t.  I thought it was really good. so I’m excited to see it again(:.

I’ve learned a lot in Mr. Moore’s class.  I had him as a teacher last year, so I already knew most of the things we’ve learned this trimester.  I look forward to his class every day because I like working on computers.  I’ve learned how to blog and communicate on the computer.  I like it a lot more than just writing on paper.  I’ve also learned how to communicate with people in other countries.  I also learned how to research things in this class.  It is a good thing to know for high school and college.

Mrs. Edicks health class was interviewed about the dangers of smoking. This article tells one of the many interviews that 8th graders at hayes middle school took. We made the front page of the newspaper that day. A photographer also came.  They took pictures of us hanging up posters about smoking and writing on the windows in the school.  We did this to try and warn other people how bad smoking is for you.

Uniforms, personally, I think are not a good idea.  Students like wearing their own clothes because it is a way they express themselves.  Schools already have a dress code and I think that is enough.  I think that only private schools should wear uniforms.  I like the way it is right now, I dont think it should change.

I love animals and my two favorite are cats and horses.  I’ve already talked about this is some of my other posts.  Horses are really pretty. I’ve asked my parents if I could get one, but they just laughed.  I want to move into the country when I grow up so I can get a horse.  Maybe two horses (:.  I think they are amaziinggg.

If I was president, the first thing I would change would be prices.  I would lower the prices on houses and cars and other items that we use on an everyday basis.  A lot of people are struggling with money right now.  Also, a good amount of people have lost their job or have been laid off.  The prices for a lot of things are going up and that is not good for most people.  If I was president, I would also change the driving age.  I would change it to 13 because that is when you are fully a teenager (:.

I love being in middle school.  It has been a great experience.  I love socializing with my friends, that is my favorite part about school (:.  Mr. Pochert’s class has been hard for me because two of my best friends are in that class.  I have a hard time focusing on my work even when I try to ignore them.  I’ve been trying to get my grade up but Mr. Pochert hasn’t been putting in grades for assignments.  I like lunch because that is the only time during school that I can talk to my friends without getting yelled at by a teacher (:.  I love middle school and I’m gonna miss it next year when I’m in high school.

I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up because I love animals.  My two favorite animals are Cats and Horses.  Animals to me, are like half of my life and i’ve wanted to be a veterinarian for a long time.  I don’t want to leave the state, but I want to move out into the country and find a vet closer then where I live now.  I think that being a veterinarian will be an amazing job because I can see animals every day.  When I grow up, I want to have at least 2 cats.  I want to live in the country so I can get a horse.
